Death Plateau
Starting Point:You can start this quest at the Death plateau(indicated on map), talk to Denulth
Description: Trolls have come down from the north and are camped on Death Plateau, they are using this base to launch attacks on the principality of Burthorpe!
The Imperial Guard are taking heavy losses, they need your help!
Requirements: none, but beware of some trolls!
Difficulty: Easy, combat should be 15+
Items needed: Asgarnian ale(can be retrieved during the quest), blurberry special(get from the gnome, blurberry, he's in Gnome Stronghold), money(bring 750 gp or more), 10 cooked trout, 10 bread, and an iron bar.
Reward: 3k attack experience, the ability to make claws, and a pair of steel ones.
- Talk to Denulth, and he will tell you that he needs to find a way to get into the troll stronghold, and asks if you can get the code to unlock the equipment(I think) door.
- Go north to the castle(you've probably already seen it..) and go upstairs. Go and talk to Eohric (the master of the slaves) ask him ""Where is the guard that was on last night staying?" and he will tell you to go to the Toad and Chicken inn, which is south-east.
- Once inside, trade the person and buy some Asgarnian ales. Go upstairs, and go into the furthest door. Talk to Harold, and he will tell you he doesn't want to talk about it. Give him an ale and he will tell you some more stuff. If he asks for a Blurberry Special, give it to him.
- Gamble him a few times and he will give you an IOU. (Around as much until he owes you 100gp).
- On the back of the IOU(read it) will be a combination. It is a riddle, but here is the answer:(go inside the room once you have the stones in place)
- Speak with Denulth again and he will tell you to now look for a passage into the death plateau, and he tells you that the Sherpa will be helpful.
- Walk on the path just west of the castle. When you see a wounded soldier head on the west path(Do NOT go the other way!!!). Knock on the door and tell Tenzing that you are not the milkman, and Tenzing will let you in.
- Talk to him about a path leading up the plateau, and he will say that he will tell you when you run an errand for him. He wants 10 cooked trout, 10 cooked bread, and his climbing boots fixed at the blacksmith.
- Go to the blacksmith (just follow the path back out and you will come to Denulth, head north-east, and you will see it.
- He will tell you that to fix the climbing shoes, he will need you to get his son in the army.
- Talk to Denulth again, and he will get the blacksmith's son in the army. Talk to the blacksmith again and he will fix the boots. Go back to Tenzing, and give him the bread, trout and climbing boots. He will tell you the way to go, so head north into his backyard, and climb the stile. Follow the path, and when your character says he's gone enough, go back to Denulth for you reward.
