Sell M3h R00n Pl0z!
- Head to the Champion's Guild, southwest of Varrock, and talk to the guildmaster.
- Ask him where to get Rune Platemail, he will tell you to go to Oziach.
- Oziach is in a small hut slightly west of Edgeville. If you ask him about Rune Platemail, he will tell you that you need to prove yourself worthy first by killing Elvarg.
- After a long speech about Crandor and map pieces and crap, he will give you a maze key. Keep it.
- Head to Lumbridge and talk to the Duke of Lumbridge upstairs in the castle.
- Tell him you want to slay a dragon to obtain the anti-dragon shield.
Riddle Me This
- For this part you will need an unfired bowl, a lobster pot, silk, and a wizard mind bomb.
- Go to White Wolf Mountain west of the monastery and north of the dwarven mines. There is a weird blue guy up there named Oracle, talk to him/her/it.
- He/she/it will give you a series of riddles of certain items. These items are the ones mentioned above.
- Go south on the mountain until you see a dwarf camp. There should be a trap door there, go down.
- Now you are underground in the dwarven mines. From the ladder, go south past the ore/bar store than turn a 90 degrees eastwards. Keep going east until you see a room in a corner with a single chest inside.
- Open the door to the small room and open the chest inside, you will get a piece of the map to Crandor.
Snipe or Bribe
- For this part, you will need one of the following: 10,000gp or ranged attacks to kill a goblin plus telegrab runes. You may only choose the second option if you have the ability to cast telekinetic grab.
- Head to the Port Sarim jail and look for a goblin named Wormbrain.
- For people who can't use telekinetic grab, talk to the goblin and ask to purchase the map piece. You will eventually get a deal for 10,000gp. Pay the guy.
- If you have the ability to telegrab, range/mage/hally the goblin to death and telegrab the map piece.
Crazy Cabbage Man
- For this part, you will need your maze key and food and armor to kill a series of monsters. If you have low hp but decent ranged/mage, you might want to take ranged/magic stuff.
- There is a building in the deserted parts of Asgarnia named Melzar's maze. It is located south of the crafting guild and northwest of Rimmington, next to a medium-sized cabbage and onion field.
- Use your maze key to get in.
- Kill the larger rats in and around the northwest corner until you get a red key. Grab the red key and use it on the most northwestern door in the room. Climb the ladder.
- In this room keep killing ghosts until you get an orange key. It's kind of hard to predict where the right ghost is since these guys have a large moving range and can move quite fast. Once you get the key, use it on the second door from the north and climb up the ladder.
- This room contains skeletons. Again, these guys have a semi-large moving range and move frequently. The good news about this room in that you can stand behind tables and range/mage the skeletons to death. Kill these guys until you get a yellow key, use the key on the most southwest door.
- After a series of going down ladders, you will end up in a room with two zombies. Kill the one closer to the door marked blue. It should drop a blue key. If it doesn't, simply kill the other one. Use the blue key on the blue door.
- The next room has Melzar the Mad in it. This guy uses magic more often than melee so you might want to remove your metal armor. During the fight you will see cabbages spawn around the room. You may grab these if you like after, not during, the fight to heal a little bit. If you grab them during the fight, the will only end up being a distraction. Grab the magenta key he drops and use it on the magenta-marked door.
- The last room has a lesser demon in it. At a whopping level 82, it can be
quite intimidating. No worries though, as it has ranging potential. Once you
attack the beast, run to the spot shown on the picture below and range/mage
away.

- If you're lucky, a rat will get into that small crevice, in which case you
may hally. (Members only)

- Use the green key this guy drops and enter the door marked green. Open the chest you see there and you will get the final map piece. Go up the ladder next to you to get out of the maze.
Return of the Old Coot
- Use your map pieces with each other to get the whole map.
- Grab your Crandor map, 90 steel nails, 2000gp, 3 planks, and a hammer.
- Head to Port Sarim and talk to a guy named Klarense. Ask to purchase his ship. He will agree for 2000gp.
- Go onto your ship, climb down the ladder. You should see a hole there.
- Fix the hole.
- Go to Draynor Village and talk to a guy named Ned there.
- Ask for him to take you to Crandor.
- He will agree.
Final Battle
- Stock up on food to fight Elvarg. Lobsters at least.
- Equip your anti-dragon shield. If you don't, you will die to the dragon.
- Suggested weapons include: rune sword, rune scimitar, rune long sword. If you have low attack, I'd suggest not using the scimitar. The only reason the scimitar is good is because of its relatively high strength bonus for its speed. However, the rune sword has the same speed but is a stabbing weapon (dragons are weak to stab attacks). The rune long sword is a stabbing weapon with a higher strength bonus, but is slow compared to your other choices.
- Your armor should be at least adamant.
- Go back to the ship you bought, go downstairs and talk to Ned to journey to Crandor. This island is filled with semi-dangerous creatures such as king scorpions, moss giants, and the dreaded lesser demons.
- Run to the center of the island and go down the rocks. You will be in a tunnel filled with skeletons and more lesser demons.
- Run ALL the way down the tunnel until you see a wall. Search the wall and you will find a secret passage.
- Push through the passage, now push back into the tunnel. You've done his because if your are to die to the dragon for this fight, you may return to the dragon by simply going through the Karamja Volcano Dungeon instead of fixing your ship again.
- Now go along the tunnel until our see a gate your the side. Enter the gate and Elvarg will immediately start attacking you with dragon breath attacks.
- Run up to the dragon so that you are close range. If you stay in far range, Elvarg will continue using dragon breath on you. And although the anti-dragon shield drains the strength of dragon breath, it will not drain its accuracy. You will still be hit 6s and 7s by the dragon breath.
- If you are at close range, the dragon will melee you more than dragon breath. Just keep stabbing the creature and eat when necessary. With the right equipment and positioning the dragon's really just a pushover at level 50+. You may have some trouble at lower levels, however. I mean, come on, it's level 83, you can't expect it to be that easy.
- As soon as you slay the dragon, you will be teleported outside the gates.
CONGRATULATIONS! QUEST COMPLETE!
- To get back to main land, go back to the secret passage you discovered. Push through it and continue in the direction of the deadly red spiders and skeletons. You will eventually get to a climbing rope. Climb up and start walking east. The environment will eventually get more familiar and you will see that you are on Karamja. Find some way to get 30gp and take the boat back to Port Sarim.
- Rune platemail takes 40 defense to wear and costs 84,500gp from Oziach, around 60,000gp from players. It is the most melee-defensive armor in the free to play game.
- Green dragonhide body takes level 40 defense and level 40 ranged and costs 10,400gp from Oziach, around 6000gp from players. It offers melee defense close to steel armor and also offers the highest magic defense in the free to play game. Another good thing is that it offers a ranged attack bonus which makes this the ideal chest armor for all free to play rangers.
