Dwarf Cannon
Starting Point: Just south of the coal trucks, talk to the Dwarf Commander.
Description: For several years now the dwarven black guard have been developing the latest in projectile warfare. Now with the constant attack of goblin renegades, the dwarven troops who protect the mines need to put this secret weapon into action. Only with your help can the true power of this cannon be harnessed!
Requirements:None.
Difficulty:Easy, combat 20+
Items Needed:None, but food is recommended for the lower levels
Reward:750 Crafting exp, and the ability to buy and use the dwarf cannon(750k).
- Talk to the commander, and he will say that the railings need to be fixed because of fear of invasion of the goblins. Proceed to search every single railing, and fix them. If you fail you'll take damage.
- Go back to the commander once you are done this tedious job, and he will tell you to find a different recruit. Go south and up into a tower. Go up to the highest floor, and pick up the remains of the dwarf. Show these to the commander, and he will tell you to find his son.
- Go to the cave just north of Ardougne and south-east of the fishing guild, go inside and proceed through the middle way, go as far as you can go into a room full of crates. Search them to find the dwarf's son. He will tell you that he will return home.
- Next, the dwarf will tell you to fix the cannon. Proceed to fix it by inspecting it. You will fail a lot. Occasionally you will succeed and a menu will pop up, select which part of the cannon you want to fix. Don't try the same part twice, unless you fail the first time. When you finish, talk to the commander again. Go to the Ice mountain dwarf mine camp and talk to Nulodion. He will give you an ammo mould and instructions. Go back to the dwarf commander to complete the quest.
