Elemental Workshop I, The
Description: Hundreds of years ago a mineral was found that had the ability to change the property of magic.
The magicians, fearing the effect this may have on there profession, sealed this workshop forever; or so they had hoped. See if you can rediscover the lost knowledge of elemental ore.
Starting Point: You can start this quest just southwest of the bank in seers village, by searching the bookcase.
Difficulty: Easy, combat 20+, short quest
Requirements: 20 Mining, 20 Smithing, 20 Crafting, A Blade to cut web, sword, knife, pick axe, leather, thread, a needle, 4 coal, and a hammer.
Reward: Element Shield, 500 experience in Crafting, 500 experience in mining, 500 XP in Smithing, and 1 Quest Point.
- Go to the house just southwest of the bank in seers village.
- Search the bookcase on the East Wall of the house.
- Read the book, then use your knife on it once you're done and you will get a battered key.
- The building North of you (has an anvil inside) and use the key on the Odd Looking Wall(wow, how strange
is it that wall would be "odd looking"). Then go down the stairs.
- When you get down the stairs (what a challenge), go down the west way (haha, alliteration!) and try to mine a rock. The idiot monster will attack you, kill it and pick up the elemental ore it drops.
- Ok, so you got the Elemental Ore, go to the Northern Room, from where you came in, turn the right valve
first (if you're facing north) then the left one(it can be the other way around, it just depends on your user). The
wheel will start to move, now go pull the lever.
- Ok, so, now go to the Eastern room and fix the Bellows. (This is where the leather, thread and needle
comes in).
- After the Bellows are fixed(_-=~* DO NOT PULL THE SWITCH *~=-_), search all the crates and boxes until
you find a Stone Bowl. When you find it, go to the souther room.
- Use the bowl with the lava then use it on the furnace.
- Now return to the Bellows and pull the switch.
- Go back to the furnace and use your Elemental Ore on the furnace.
- Now, back to the center and use your Elemental Bar on the workbench.
- THERE IS NO STEP 13!!! HA-HA! ok... Quest Complete, Congratulations!
Remember you can return anytime and make more Elemental shields.
