Fremennik Trials, The
Starting Point: The Long hall in Rellekka, North-west of Sinclair Mansion, Speak to Chieftain Brundt
Description: Council workmen have at last found the time to make repairs to the footbridge that connects Kandarin with the Barbarian town of Rellekka.Do you have what it takes to impress the barbarians who live there, and perhaps be welcomed as an honorary member of their clan?
Requirements:medium to high combat level, Lvl 40 woodcutting, Lvl 40 crafting, level 25 fletching
Difficulty: Medium/Hard
Items Needed: 5,250 gp, 1 beer from Fremminik pub, tinderbox, woodcutting axe, a cabbage (not from Draynor manor), a potato, an onion, knife, 1 raw shark.
Reward: 3 Quest Points, 2813 experience in strength, attack, defence, Hitpoints, crafting, agility, thieving, fletching, woodcutting, and fishing. Ability to speak and trade with Fremennik villagers and steal from stalls. You keep the lyre you make, which can be re-enchanted to teleport you to Rellekka
This quest is a large quest with 7 different parts.
To start go talk to the seer he is just outside a house. Talk to him and ask him for his vote. He will say that you have to go through his house before he will agree to vote for you.
To start attempt to open the door and open the lock. The lock has a puzzle on it and there are multiple answers for the puzzle even though only one works for each person. The possible answers are Wind, Fire, Mind, Mage, Tree, Life, or Time
After you go into the door head upstairs. Pick up the herring and use it on the range. You should now take the wooden disk and use the red die on it. Now go downstairs and use the red disk in the hole in the weird tapestry. You will get a lid.
Go back upstairs and search the cupboards to get a bucket and a jug. Fill the jug with water from the tap and use it on the bucket. Then use the jug on the tap again and then on the bucket again. Then empty the bucket and use the jug on the empty bucket. Then jug on tap and jug on bucket. Now use the bucket on the chest to get a vase.
Use the vase on the tap and the lid on the vase and then finally use the vase on the freezing table. Now break open the vase and use the frozen key on the range. Go downstairs and use the key on the door to get out of the house.
End of part one
Sigmund, while speaking to him, will ask you to get him a flower that the sailor has. Go north and talk to the sailor
The sailor will want a romantic ballad. Go to the person next to the stage door path the north end of the main hall and talk to him.
He will ask for an item from Sigli. Talk to him at the south gate.
He wants a bowstring from the helmet shop owner. He wants a rare fish.
So go to the smaller dock and talk to the fisherman. Heel want a map from the navigator.
Go to the navigator and he will want a weather forecast from the seer.
The seer will want a bodyguard so go back to the helm shop and talk to the assistant.
He wants a seat in Long hall so go there and talk to Mani he wants beer. The bartender wants a contract.
Go to the kid outside and pay him 5k for a contract then do all of the steps in reverse
Talk to Swensen then go down into his dungeon.
Now go into the portals in this order. South, West, East, North, South, East, North (SWENSEN)
Speak to Sigli and he will tell you to kill the Dragon to get his vote. After accepting the challenge you will get the hunters talisman.
Use the talisman like a Runecrafting talisman until the Dragon appears. Kill him, then go talk to Sigli.
Talk to Olaf and he will tell you to create a lyre.
Head East-South-East of the village to find the Swinging Tree (its a rare tree symbol on your mini-map and it has a lot of items around it) Cut a branch then fletch it.
No go southeast until you find a troll. Ask him about the other human. Go to the kid that you paid 5k to for the treaty earlier in the quest to get a pet rock (sad isn't it)
Now go to the little farm beside the gate and take an onion potato and a cabbage then go back and use the materials on the pot in this order. Rock (for flavour) onion potato and cabbage.
Talk to the troll and he will give you golden fleece. Spin this then use it on your lyre.
Now head west of Fremminik and you will se a weird alter thing. Use your raw shark on the alter and a ghost will come up and enchant your lyre. Now go back to Fremennik and talk to the guy at the stage door and go in and play the lyre for the audience.
Go to the bank and put all your armor and weapon inside and take out all of your best food. Go to the warrior in the town (the bodyguard for the Seer) and talk to him. Go down into the trapdoor and fight. Kill 3 stages of this guy and try to kill the fourth (if you do you will get a rare item as a reward).
Now you have the second last vote.
Talk to Manni at the bar and hell challenge you to a drinking contest.
Accept this and grab a keg of beer and drink up. You loose.
Go down to seers village poison salesman and buy some of his new product. Now get a normal beer and use it on the Council workman at the bridge to get a cherry bomb.
Go outside the longhouse and use your tinderbox on the bomb and the bomb on the pipe. Go inside the building and use your special keg on the keg on the table. Challenge Manni again and you will win.
Now talk to the leader again and...
