Gertrudes Cat
Starting Point: Gertrude's House, just opposite Juliet's place on the outskirts of Varrock
Description: Gertrude's cat has been missing for some time now - for her peace of mind her prized pet must be rescued. Handling cats isn't an easy business. They get hungry and need plenty of attention but if you're the pet type, then this is the quest for you!
Requirements: Member and level 5 fishing to fish sardine (not needed if you buy the sardine)
Difficulty:Easy
Items Needed: Raw sardine, doogle leaf (behind Gertrude's House), 100gp and a bucket of milk (use bucket on cow)
Reward: 1qp, stew, kitten, chocolate cake and 1525 cooking experience
Talk to Gertrude. She will tell you that her cat is missing and her boys are in Varrock Central.
Go behind the house and rub some collect some doogle leaves and use them on the sardine to obtain seasoned sardine
Go to Varrock central and talk to Shilop and Wilough. Shilop will need 100gp to tell you where the Cat is. Pay him.
Look on the map above to find out where the place the cat is hidden is (lumber yard) on the south side you can hop the fence to get in.
Go up the ladder and try to pick up the cat. you will get hurt. then a message will say it's thirsty give the cat the milk. Try again. This time the cat is hungry. Feed it the sardine. Try again. The cat won't leave but suddenly... you hear KITTENS!
Climb down the ladder and search the crates until you find a kitten. go back up the ladder and use the kitten on the cat. (the cat and the kitten will run home)
Return to Gertrude and she will thank you and be happy and you will get your reward for finding her cat.
