Regicide
Starting Point: Anywhere, Receive a message from the king's messenger (Random Event).
Description: Continuing the plague city series, the Regicide quest takes you beyond the 'Well of Voyage' to a new realm. King Lathas will employ you once again, this time for the grim task of deposing his brother. Once you have travelled to the realm you will find yourself surrounded by new and strange plants, animals and even a new race. Once there, you will see that everything is not as serene as it first appears.
Requirements:Lvl. 56 Agility and the ability to kill a Lvl 110.
Difficulty:Hard and long
Items Needed:Axe, Balls of wool (4), pot, pestle and mortar, food, ropes (2-3) bow/arrows, spade, pick, anti-poisons, tinderbox.
Reward:3 QP 13k Agility exp, 15k coins, and the ability to buy and wield the dragon halberd and an overwhelming sense of accomplishment.
Sometime throughout the game a Squire will appear to you bringing tidings from the king. The message says that you must go to him immediately.
Now make your way to the king who will give you your mission you now have to go through the well of souls that Iban was guarding and into the mysterious land beyond. And what's more you don't get the army that you requested.
Now return through underground pass and go back into the Iban Room don't worry no doll needed this time.
Now click on the well and you will catch your first glimpse of Isafdar. The inside of a cave.
Leave the cave and someone will come up and start talking to you. Suddenly he will be hit a large amount of damage and die. The elves will command you to go talk to their leader at the elf camp. Go through the forest like this.
- head straight and skirt SOUTH around the rocks.
- follow the path that heads slightly south and jump over the leaves.
- now keep heading south west. You will see a break in the forest to the west and click "Walk over" Sticks. You will probably fail multiple times.
- Now head due north jumping the leaf trap.
- When you get to the log bridge cross it and go search the camp until you find lord Iowerth
Now Iowerth will tell you to talk to the elf tracker. Head south the way you came, BUT DON'T GO OVER THE STICK TRAP AGAIN instead keep heading south and talk to the elf tracker.
The tracker won't believe that you were sent by Lord Iowerth. Return to Iowerth and explain what happened. He will give you a pendant to prove that he sent you.
The tracker will now believe you. Head over to the dense forest and search the footprints and follow them to the dense forest. Return and talk to the tracker.
Prepare for battle. Put on armor and get ready and everything. Now go through the dense forest and you will be attacked. Kill the guard and follow the path. You will see a small area where the path divides. Take either one but WATCH OUT FOR THE TRIP WIRE. When you see it click step over trip wire
Head throughout he final dense forest and talk to the general in the camp and then pick up 2 barrels.
Now return to the tracker then Iowerth and he will give you the "Big Book Of Bangs" (in other words how to make a bomb)
Now there are 3 items you need. Ill start with the hard one go down to the tracker and there will be a place where there is an option "Take tar" use your barrel on that. And also pick up some sulphur.
Now teleport to Falador and get out all of your coal. Now head south to Rimmington and there you will find the chemist (plague city). Go to the side of his house to find a distillerator. Use your tar on it (only one barrel). Now use the machine. Click add coal until the heat hits red. Now turn the tar flow control on. Now when the pressure gauge gets to red turn the pressure release. Eventually if you don't mess up you will get a barrel of Naphtha.
Head to varrok and go towards the Mort Myre Area. Halfway through that path there will be a mine. Mine one limestone.
Now get out a pot and pestle and mortar. Go to Ardougne and use the limestone with a furnace to get quicklime. Now use the sulphur with the pestle and mortar and then the quicklime with it.
Now return through underground pass and go to Lord Iowerths camp and use the loom to get a special cloth. Now use the bomb items together to get a bomb then the cloth on the bomb.
Go back to the opponents camp and talk to the catapult guy. Now kill a rabbit and cook his meat. Use this on the catapult guard. Use your bomb with the catapult and light it then fire the catapult.
After a cut scene go back to Lord Iowerth and you will receive a message to give to the king. Go back to Ardougne, in the courtyard you will be stopped by an elf who presents a plot twist. Now talk to the king and....
