Roving Elves
Starting Point: In the regicide area, Tirannwn
Description:Deep in the elven forests of Isfadar, live a duo of roving elves: Islwyn a grumpy, old elf who dislikes humans and his companion Eluned who is a beautiful, friendly, young female elf with a kind heart. In this quest you are challenged to overcome Islwyn's prejudice against humans and alleviate the burdens of the past.
Requirements: Must of Completed Regicide Quest and Waterfall Quest. Must kill a Level 84 Moss giant unarmed. Combat level should be at least 65+
Difficulty: Hard, Combat should be 65+
Items Needed: Glarial's amulet, Glarial's pebble, rope, some OK food depending on your combat level, and a spade.
Reward: 10k Strength Exp, a very good, partly used, crystal bow/shield(limited uses, more info at bottom of guide), 1 Quest Point.
Ok, go and search the fire remains at the Quest start point. Once you have you will receive a message saying that you should look for the people that were camping there.
Go to Islwyn, at the point indicated on the map, he will appear there soon, as he switches spots every like 4 minutes. Stay at that spot, and he will eventually appear. He will tell you that you must sanctify his grandmother's grave, to do this you will have to get him a Consecration Seed. He will tell you to get him a consecration seed for him. Then talk to the other elf, and she will tell you about how you will go about doing this. Islwyn is located here:(pic also shows where the fire remains are.)
Go back to Ardougne, find your pebble, take off all your armour, get what you think you will need to kill a lvl 84 moss giant UNARMED! He isn't that strong, but you must bring food as he does magic and melee at the exact same time, and you will get hit still.
Go to the Glarial's Tomb, then head along the path, don't turn, and you will come across the moss giant. Kill it, then pick up the consecration seed that he will drop.
Get back to the elves and talk to the other elf (not Islwyn). She will sing a song(you can't hear it...) and the seed will become a plantable seed(LOL).
Go to the waterfall, go get the key again, then go through to the place where you found the treasure in "Waterfall Quest". Plant the seed near the Big cup, and a tree will appear, then magically disappear.
Get back to the Elves, and claim your reward, pick either a bow or a shield.
Congratulations, you have completed Roving Elves Quest!
Info About the Bow and the shield: These two items are of great power, the bow doesn't have to use arrows, and at lvl 70 range, can deal around 15, and the shield is said to be better than the Dragon Shield. To wield the bow and the shield, you must have 70 range for the bow, and 70 defense and 50 agility for the Shield. After you have used it 200 times, it will become a seed. I am not sure if it is rechargeable, but you can buy another one from Islwyn. The bow costs 900k and the shield 750k.
