Temple Of Ikov
Starting Point: Pub in Ardougne
Description: A mysterious stranger called Lucien asks you to go on a mission deep under the Temple of Ikov in central Kandarin. He wants you to retrieve an artifact known as the Staff of Armadyl. Towards the end of the quest you are presented with a choice on how to complete the quest.
Difficulty:Medium, combat 35+
Requirements:40+ Range, 42 thieving, and 37 Prayer is recommended (43 helps), ability to kill a (lvl-80) mage. Hold your own against skeletons, lesser, and must be able to stay in a room full of ice spiders for at least 10 minutes.
Items Needed:20 Limpwurt roots, lit candle and a yew or magic bow (see archery and fletching guides)
Reward:Range exp. and some fletching exp.
Speak to Lucien who is near the bar in Ardougne he gives you a pendant and tells you to get him a staff from the deserted Temple of Ikov.
Gather a weapon with slash attack and your candle and go to the temple (just south of range guild).
Go down the staircase to the south and pick up the boots of lightness put them on (if your weight is less than 0kg (-1 to -4) then go through the east gate.
Once through go to the weird bridge and cross it WARNING IF YOU ARE 0KG OR OVER YOU WILL FALL AND BE DEALT A 25
Pick up the lever in the back of the room and cross the bridge again.
Continue east and there will be a lever with a trapdoor under it (any more obvious?) Search the lever for traps then pull it.
Now leave and bank for the following items...20 Limpwurts, bow (yew or above), prayer potions and that lever piece.
This will be easy or hard depending on your level. Once you are back in the temple just west of the entrance is a lever without a switch use your lever on it and go through the gate

Go north and search the chests in the alcoves for ice arrows (get 25+)
Go back to the west room and go west then south enter the door and prepare to battle.
When ready open the door on the opposite side and turn on protect from magic NOTE: YOU MUST KILL THE FIRE WARRIOR WITH ICE ARROWS
When he is dead go through the door and talk to the witch give her the Limpwurt roots and she will teleport you over the river, once over run all the way down the hall until you get to a shiny key pick it up and double back to the strange wall.
Here you have two choices, good or evil, respectively.
- Take off your amulet and talk to a guardian. It will give you a amulet that allows you to kill Lucien go to Varrock and kill him.
- Try to take the staff and kill some guardians to get it and get out. Meet Lucien in Varrock, you will have to go around.
To get out go up the ladder, and use the shiny key with the door.
After you do either option you have completed Temple of Ikov.
