Troll Romance
Starting Point: Talk to Ug in the Troll Stronghold
Description: Ug loves Aga, but Aga is together with Arrg. Since Arrg is a lot stronger than Ug, Ug can't follow the regular mating ritual, which involves ripping the opponent into pieces. Will you be able to find out what will impress the troll female more than a display of violence? Will you survive the journey to help a lonely troll find love?
Requirements:Must have completed Death Plateau, Must have completed Troll Stronghold, Level 28 Agility, Must be able to defeat a level 113 Troll, level 43 prayer or at least protect from missiles helpful
Difficulty: Hard
Items Needed: Rope, Cake Tin, Maple or Yew log, Iron Bar, Bucket of Wax (to get this, go to Catherby. Find the bug repellant in one of the houses on a table. Now head West to the beehives, pick up a bucket there, and use it with the beehive.), Swamp Tar, Climbing Boots
Reward: 2 QP, a sled, 4 uncut emeralds, 2 uncut rubies, 1 uncut diamond, 8k agility experience, 4k strength experience.
To get to Ug, go to the stronghold, then go to the south stairs, then you should be in the cooks area, go to the northwest passage, then turn west into a room with the quest symbol. Talk to him to start the quest.
Once you've got the quest started, go across the room and talk to Aga, and she'll tell you she wants a rare trollweiss plant.
Go back to Ug, and tell him your discovery. He'll say you need to ask someone familiar with the mountains.
Now, go to Tenzing (he will also sell you climbing boots, he's in a little hut on the way to the stronghold). He'll tell you to get a sled, so go to Dustan who is just East of the castle in Burthorpe.
He'll tell you he needs an iron bar, rope, and a yew or maple log.
Get him these items, then he'll give you a sled. Use your wax with the swamp tar, and then use the Wax you get on the sled to get a Waxed sled.
Now head to the Stronghold, but run across the thrower trolls with protection, then go on the first path rather than to the stronhold.
Keep on going, go past the Ice Gate, that's for Desert Treasure. You'll come to a cave. Go in, and run through, until you get to the other side, then exit. Go and find a slope where you can't walk down, then equip your sled, and click on the slope to slide down. You'll see a cool cutscene, and eventually come to some flowers, so pick a couple just incase. Now you can teleport back to TrollHeim, then go to Ug, or you can take the sled back down the next hill, then go around the entire stronghold.
Now that you're done that, go back and talk to Ug. Give him the flowers. Now Ug will say he can't get to Aga, because Arrg is in the way, and you'll have to kill him.
Now, get all the stuff you need to kill a guy who can do 30s (I don't remember what level I was (around 80) but when I did it, I was too lazy go get a dragon weapon, and I had a rune axe, I killed it with a rune axe, and protection prayers. Be ready to switch. I had a little bit of food, but I suggest bringing sharks just incase. And don't bring a bad weapon, I was probably just lucky. Once you're ready, (turn on protect from melee before talking to him) go talk to Arrg who is in the way of Aga (duh) and challenge him.
Now, you'll be teleported to the arena. He'll start to attack you. Kill him, he switches from range and melee, you can switch prayers withotu him switching, but if you're too lazy, he does alot more damage with melee! After you kill him, go back to Ug to complete the quest.
CONGRATULATIONS! QUEST COMPLETE!
