Firemaking
Firemaking is a skill related directly to woodcutting and cooking. It is a fairly easy skill to gain yet is in the end quite pointless in my oppinion.
To make a fire use the tinderbox with your logs. The lvls needed to make the fires are as follows.
| Type of log | Level needed | Exp gained |
|---|---|---|
| Regular | 1 | 40 |
| Oak | 15 | 60 |
| Willow | 30 | 90 |
| Maple | 45 | 135 |
| Yew | 60 | 202.5 |
| Magic | 75 | 303 |
Pyre Logs
Pyre logs are made for use after the completion of shades of Mort'ton the quest. The burn the remains of the shades that you obtain. The firemaking lvl for the logs is 5 levels higher than the normal burning level. To make pyre logs use sacred oil (see Shades of Mort'tom guide) and use it on the logs. This will make pyre logs. Use these logs on the alter and then use a remain on the alter. After you are done this click on the alter to light fire and get the key it gives(50 % chance).
